Why Join the Team

Gary and Ruth have been having a difficult time communicating with family, supporters, and their newsletter group due to computer and transportation troubles. The taxis won’t even come down their dirt road in the heavy rains, so they have very limited access to the internet and the “outside world.”

To help Gary and Ruth share their prayer requests, praises and news, we are forming a communication support team. The team “members” will rotate calling Ruth on a weekly basis. The contact person for the week will record prayer requests, praises, and any significant news they would like to share. That information will be passed on to Tim Luukkonen, who will distribute it to others via email. Our hope is that this weekly contact with various family and friends will improve communication and be a great encouragement to both Gary and Ruth and those who are calling.

Team Goal: Our team goal is to have one person call Gary and Ruth per week.
