Dry Season

It is Dry Season in Liberia, West Africa. Where we are living at present with our Liberian family, the water level in the neighborhood wells can go so low that the pumps are frequently shut down throughout the day. The water in city streams is not safe for drinking.
Here is the routine for fetching water in our Liberian family. One member of our household goes to the neighborhood pump, waiting his turn in line to fill several of his containers. He then wheelbarrows them home to refill the family barrels, and returns to the pump to repeat the entire process. Sometimes our household may be blessed to have lots of water, some days it may have little, other times there may be none at all.
Well, I am so glad we know about the Well that will never run dry. Jesus is the Living Water, and He promised to flow in our inner most being like rivers if we believe in Him!
