Village Life
The fog was thick, even though it was late in the morning. The dew was thick as well, falling like rain off the heavy jungle canopy. We broke out into the plantation farm between two small mountains. Some thing was different; unsettling, disturbing. Nelson Zamie bent down to examine two dried shards from a pineapple stalk; the heart of the plant had been removed.
“They have been here,” he told me.My heart was pounding, I was only thinking of one thing; and as it spilled out of my mouth it seemed even more foreboding, “Silver Back?”
“Yes!” he said, “the Silverback Gorilla and his troop are back!
“Do the Gorillas in Life seem to be attacking your spiritual fruit? Take courage from God who says in Isaiah 43:13b “I work, and who will reverse it?
“When God is in it, when He is in charge of the work, He will pull you through all the problems, hardships, and obstacles. Please pray for the Nimba County Village Ministry; our hearts are heavy because the workers are few.
