Little Ruthie
Our first Sunday back at our Liberian Church was an awesome day for me. Soon after the church service began, as I was standing in the second row, suddenly I heard two little feet come running up to me, and then I felt two little arms grabbing my legs in a tight embrace. I looked down, and there was ‘little Ruthie’ smiling happily up at me. I was surprised that she still remembered me from our last visit !

Even the Deaf Can Praise the Lord
She tapped me on my shoulder and smiled. “Oh” I responded, “remind me of your name?” She shook her head and motioned with her hands. Then I realized: she was one of my deaf friends! Here is a photo of her family. Her husband, who is also deaf, is pastor of the deaf ministry at our Liberian Church. Both husband and wife love to praise the Lord.
