Swept Up in a Whirlwind
May 15th, 2008

In the last three months, Gary and I have been “swept up in a whirlwind”! We have moved three times, transferred in job placement three times, come down sick with pneumonia, gone to the hospital for an angiogram, and bought our plane tickets for Liberia!
About a month ago, we asked you all to pray with us as to whether God wanted us to wait and return to Liberia after we saw all our financial needs met, or whether He wanted us to step out by faith and trust Him to provide as we go. God prompted both Gary and me to buy our plane tickets right away, even though our mobile home has not yet sold, nor all our needed financial support come in. For the Macedonian Call is ringing loud and clear in our hearts……..
“‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’ Now after Paul had seen the vision, IMMEDIATELY we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.” Acts 16:9, 10
So we will be leaving Arizona by rental car on May 23 to visit our children and grandchildren in California. Then we will travel by car to Minnesota to spend time with Gary’s family. We fly for Africa out of Minneapolis on June 10 and will arrive in Liberia at 4:50 pm June 11.

Hey me too! Got planted me in Singapore for a while and arrived last week. I have come over in faith as well, but whoh! what a big blessing to be back here in Asia. Awesome job guys! I’m glad you are going back to Lib. I firmly know your heart resides there, may God bless you as you go. Brandon
