A Pastor with a Genuine Smile

Pastor Patrick Nanning is a man with genuine smile, who I think encourages everyone he meets. I have watched him as he ’signs’ to a group of deaf students who attend his church. He interacts with them, smiling and laughing, putting them all at ease. His smile also touches the hearts of children, letting them know that they are important to God. I have seen Pastor Nanning as he greets those who come to his church, warming each person with his smile, one by one, his eyes radiating sincere compassion for that specific individual’s wellbeing. He wants them to know that God cares.
Whether preaching God’s Holy Word, working construction with his men, tailoring clothes at the shop, or helping at the church school——Pastor Patrick Nanning is smiling! His smile is contagious and for that I am glad; because I attend that church and Pastor Nanning is OUR Pastor! Happy New Years, Pastor Patrick!

I enjoy reading your newsletters. This one made me smile
Our Pastor, Joe, and his wife, Tricia, have been quite ill for several weeks. They completely missed celebrating Christmas with us. They are beginning to take a turn for the better.
We hope you pray for us — we have A LOT to do to raise our support and get ready to go to Lithuania.
