In the African Jungle
April 30th, 2006

There are several impressive experiences I had growing up in the African Jungle. As a child I remember swinging from the tree vines like a monkey, or watching the mama baboons scurry down the hillside with their babies on their backs! As an adult I recall the times my family and I hacked our path through the dense bushes with our machetes, or stepped in the middle of an army of driver ants! I also have vivid memories of climbing up into cinnamon trees to chew on their leafy stems, or swimming in the muddy rivers with the crocodiles nearby. Africa, a land of natural beauty and adventure, my home, my friend.
