Hawa
March 28th, 2006
Hawa was a nineteen year old orphan who became like my daughter. I admired Hawa for her courage. In spite of her hard life she knew how to sing! Her father was poisoned, her mother was persecuted, and her sisters taken away. Hawa herself nearly lost the viaion in both eyes, and she nearly died from bouts of malaria. Yet through all these hardships, Hawa chose to trust in God Who is Faithful. The day I met her we bonded in soul and spirit. We laughed together and cried together. She was my daughter; she was my friend.
